Este es el nombre de
la exposición de fotografía que será expuesta del 1 al 30 de marzo, en la Casa
Ecuatoriana de Londres, y cuyas obras serán el resultado de un concurso que se
acaba de abrir.
Dicha organización ecuatoriana ha empezado a desarrollar una serie
actividades para dar homenaje a la Mujer por su Día Internacional, pero que
ellos han denominado “Marzo Mes Internacional de la Mujer”.
Entre dichas actividades, está la exposición de fotografía “Con Rostro de
Mujer”, que tiene la finalidad de mostrar a la comunidad latinoamericana la forma
en que las féminas se desenvuelven y progresan en el Reino Unido.
Por ello MERU ha hecho la convocatoria a todos los que de una u otra forma
participan y actúan por el desarrollo de la comunidad latinoamericana en este
país.
Uno de los requisitos es que las fotografías deben mostrar el trabajo que
realizan los interesados en participar, ya sea en los aspectos social,
político, comercial, deportivo, comunitario, profesional o de cualquier otra
área de desarrollo.
Y el otro es que,
antes del 20 de febrero, se deben enviar 4 fotografías, en alta resolución
mínimo 1.MB., de las cuales los organizadores elegirán dos (y luego
imprimirán). Cada fotografía debe tener su propia descripción.
La Fecha límite para participar en la exposición de fotografía es hasta el
20 de febrero. “Con rostro de Mujer” se expondrá en la Casa Ecuatoriana del 1
de marzo al 30 de marzo.

This is the name
of the photography exhibition which will run from the 1 – 30 March at the
Ecuadorian House, London and whose works are the result of a
competition which has just opened.
This Ecuadorian organisation has started to develop a
series of activities to pay tribute to women for International Women’s Day, but
who refer to this as ‘March, International Month for Women.”
Among these activities, is the photography
exhibition Con Rostro de Mujer (With a woman’s face), which
aims to show the Latin American community how females have developed and
progressed in the UK.
MERU is therefore, inviting all those who in some way
or another are working towards the development of the Latin American community
in this country.
One of the requirements is that the photographs must
show the work being done by those interested in entering, which can be in a
social, political, business, sporting, community or professional context or any
other area of development.
The other requirement is that 4 photographs with a
minimum high resolution of 1MB must be sent before 20th February,
from which organizers will select two (and these will be printed). Each
photograph must have its own description.
Closing date for entry into this photography
exhibition is the 20th February. “Con Rostro de Mujer,”
will be on display at Ecuadorian House from 1-30 March.
